Responsible in providing relevant, adequate and timely information among constituents regarding plans, programs and activities of the City Government. It shall also be in-charge to facilitate prompt delivery of basic services, give solutions to issues and concerns especially during emergencies and encourage people’s support to and participation in the different programs and projects of the LGU.
COMMUNICATION, INFORMATION AND EDUCATION DIVISION
Provides relevant, adequate, and accurate information on the programs and activities of the City Government to its constituents, other government agencies or offices, private institutions and non-government organizations;
Provides information and research data required for the delivery of basic services; Act as repository of data related in the delivery of basic services and all other activities conducted by the LGU;
Produces programs and writes articles which will encourage people’s support to and participation in the different programs and projects of the local and national government;
Recommends and implements plans and strategies with regards to public information and research data support to local government programs and projects.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT DIVISION
Coordinate concerns on issues raised by the public on the delivery of basic services to concerned offices
Liaises with various sectors of the community regarding matters affecting livelihood and quality of life and encourages support to local government programs;
Acts as liaison between the government and its residents;
Stays at the frontline during and in the aftermath of natural and man-made disasters and calamities to keep the public informed and updated
