EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION

• Provides technical assistance in the planning, implementation and monitoring of programs or projects and performance of services of the PESO in accordance with existing policies, standards and guidelines; 
• Formulates and designs new programs/projects specification and requirements based on the monitoring and evaluation of conducted PESO services; 
• Develops and strengthens monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures thru capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system;
• Conducts research and studies as input to the development of PPAs leading to PESO digitalization;
• Manages all forms of Labor Market Information including the reporting system of PESO; 
• Markets and promotes PESO services, through all forms of media, to all its labor market clients;
• Provides would-be–employers and other stakeholders with adequate information on employment and labor market situation in the City; 
• Networks with other Public Employment Services Office (PESO) within the region on employment  for job exchange purposes.
  
  EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIVISION
  

• Facilitates the conduct of Job Fairs, Local Recruitment Activities, Special Recruitment Activities (LRA/SRA), Employer’s Forum and Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking-In-Person (AIR-TIP) Orientation, providing employment information services  to job seekers, both local and overseas employment, and recruitment assistance to employers;
• Facilitates the issuance of Mayor’s Working Permit and Mayor’s Clearance for employment purposes;
• Facilitates the conduct of youth employability programs such as Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), Work Appreciation Program (WAP), Jobstart Program, and Government Internship Program (GIP);
• Provides persons with entrepreneurship qualities access to the various livelihood and self-employment programs offered in the City by both government and non-governmental organizations;
• Provides employability enhancement trainings (skills and livelihood trainings)/seminars for job seekers as well as those who would like to change careers or enhance their employability;
• Conducts pre-employment counseling and orientation to prospective local and most especially, overseas workers and for providing employment or occupational counseling, career coaching, mass motivation and values development activities; 
• Provides reintegration assistance service to returning Filipino migrant workers; 
• Facilitates the implementation of various integrated livelihood programs/projects such as but not limited to Emergency Employment Program, Barangay Employment Services Unit (BESU) Project, Starter Kits Project, Linis-Lingap Kabyayan Project, 
• Networks with other stakeholders for resource mobilization and professional support.
• Coordinates with the DOLE subject to technical supervision on the operation of PESO and serve as referral and information center for the various services and programs of DOLE and other government agencies;
  
  

  INVESTMENT PROMOTIONS DIVISION

• In-charge of trade and investment promotion of the City; 

• Provide support and facilitation for prospective and new investors;

• Link and coordinate with stakeholders for developing, establishing and expanding alternative economic enterprise, business and employment opportunities in the City;

• Negotiate funding opportunities from different donors;

• Responsible for the administration and supervision of all economic enterprise operation.
