Responsible for the exercise of those powers expressly granted to the office by law, those necessarily implied there from, as well as powers necessary, appropriate or incidental for the efficient and effective governance of the city and those which are essential to the promotion of general welfare;

Responsible for enforcing all laws and ordinances relative to the governance of the city and in the exercise of its appropriate powers as well as implement all approved policies, programs, projects, services and activities of the city;

Responsible for initiating and maximizing the generation of resources and revenues and apply the same to the implementation of development plans, program objectives and priorities, particularly the resources and revenues programmed for agro-industrial development and countryside growth and progress;

Responsible for the assurance of the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate facilities.


EXECUTIVE SUPPORT STAFF DIVISION

Responsible in performing executive tasks ad duties in accordance with the order of the City Mayor;

Responsible in participating to policy formulation and decision making at top management level;

Responsible for the conduct research works needed for the use of the City Mayor’s Office on its political affairs;

Responsible for the formulation of strategic and effective promotional campaigns and projects for the City mayor’s office.


ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT STAFF DIVISION

Responsible for the management of all documents – incoming and outgoing-and activities for the consideration and approval of the City Mayor including all policy and program proposals, correspondence, reports, requests and other documents;

Responsible for the preparation of speeches, messages, Executive Orders, briefs, letters, project proposals, legislative endorsements and presentations for the City Mayor;

Responsible in monitoring and ensuring the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate facilities.

Responsible for ensuring proper preparations of the deliverables for the implementation of projects, programs and activities emanating from the office;

Responsible for the coordination and integration of the activities of departments in the development and implementation of programs, projects, activities, policies and procedures.
