• • Encourage, uphold and expand tourism as a major socio-economic activity to generate local government unit (LGU) income and local employment and to spread the benefits of tourism to the Fernandinos with the assistance and cooperation of both private and public sectors.

TOURISM AND HERITAGE DIVISION

 

• • Plan, develop, implement tourism infrastructure in the city;

• • Promote the City as a hub for tourism in the province of Pampanga and central Luzon;

• • Responsible for representing the City on matters related to tourism, history, heritage, arts and culture;

• • Liaise between the City and National government agencies and non-government organizations and foundations;

• • Research, plan and implement programs for heritage and site preservation;

• • Support, advance and promote the protection, maintenance and preservation of historical, cultural endowments in cooperation with different agencies.

INVESTMENT AND PROMOTION DIVISION

 

• • In-charge of trade and investment promotion of the City;

• • Provide support and facilitation for prospective and new investors;

• • Link and coordinate with stakeholders for developing, establishing and expanding alternative economic enterprise, business and employment opportunities in the City;

• • Negotiate funding opportunities from different donors;

• • Responsible for the administration and supervision of all economic enterprise operation.
