CSF Cops Receive “Medalya Ng Kagalingan” [ Friday, 29th of January 2021 | 1 month ago ]

City
of San Fernando Chief of Police Lieutenant Colonel Paul Ynigo Gamido, and
Police Corporal Ed Panlilio of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit received
Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit).
The
award was conferred by Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Police
Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon, Police Regional Director, on October 28 at
Pampanga Provincial Police Office.
Gamido
and Panlilio were awarded for their meritorious and invaluable services
rendered during the conduct of an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay
Panipuan on October 02, 2020, which led to the arrest of a high-value
individual, Denniper Palaganas Sanchez, and two others.
As
well as the confiscation of methamphetamine hydrochloric or shabu with an
estimated market value of more or less than P400, 000, 00. It can also be
recalled that three other high-value targets for illegal drugs were arrested by
the Police through a buy-bust operation last September 30, 2020, in Barangay
Lourdes.
They
confiscated a block of dried marijuana leaves, two pieces of medium-sized
heat-sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to
be shabu among others.
Meanwhile,
to express his gratitude, Gamido gave De Leon a piece of “parol” which the City
of San Fernando is known for being Home of the Giant Lanterns.
For
his part, Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago commended the police officers and
expressed his continuous support to the campaigns of the department to maintain
order and discipline in the city.
“Itong
said.
