City Schools Division Recognizes Stakeholders [ Tuesday, 8th of October 2019 | 2 weeks ago ]

The City Schools Division of San Fernando recognized its stakeholders for actively supporting their programs and initiatives during this year’s General Assembly of Stakeholders and Awarding Ceremonies on October 4 at the Heroes Hall.

Along with the general assembly was the awarding ceremony of this year’s Division Brigada Eskwela Best Implementers, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Comprehensive School Safety Program, and Schools with No Drop-Outs.

Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago, together with Pampanga 3rd District Representative Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales and Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, led the awarding.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ronnie Mallari, City Schools Division Superintendent, expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders for their continuous support to the division’s mission in providing quality education to Fernandino students.

“We give acknowledgment to all the stakeholders na tumulong upang mapanatili ang antas ng edukasyon natin sa Syudad San Fernando,” he said.

Mallari vowed that the City Schools Division will continue its outstanding performances to achieve the city government’s agenda “Edukasyong may Kalidad, Pundasyon ng Kinabukasang Matatag at Maunlad,”

“Sa atin pong mga stakeholder, ituloy lang po natin ang suporta sa isa’t-isa at nakikita naman po natin ang impact ng mga ginagawa nating partnership. Unang una po ay number 1 po tayo ulit sa National Achievement Test at ang mga estudyante natin ay nanalo na internationally. At asahan niyo po na marami pa po tayong magagawa gaya ng mga ito,” Mallari added.

For his part, Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago stressed the importance of the partnership between private institutions and the city government to build a better future for the students.

“Lagi kong sinasabi na the government can not do it alone kaya naman nagagalak tayo na may mga private organizations na tumutulong sa atin upang matupad natin ang ating misyon na makapagbigay ng magandang kalidad na edukasyon. Binabati ko din ang mga paaralan na nagpakita ng kahusayan sa pagtuturo,” he said.

For the awarding ceremonies, Francis Dominic De Guzman, Senior Education Program Specialist, said that the City Schools Division has DepEd guidelines to come up with the finalists of this year’s Division Brigada Eskwela Best Implementers, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Comprehensive School Safety Program, and Schools with No Drop-Outs.
