Newly Promoted, Re-appointed CSF Employees Take Oath Of Office [ Thursday, 18th of April 2019 | 6 months ago ]
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—More than 160 employees of the City Government of San Fernando who were newly promoted and re-appointed to permanent employment status took oath of office in a ceremony held on April 4, 2019 at Heroes Hall.
The promotion and re-appointment of these employees started on November 2018, which marked the start of the implementation of the Partial Reorganizational Structure and Staffing Pattern (PRSSP) in the city government.
“Way back 2015, we were already making reviews and evaluation for each office in preparation for the partial reorganization and at long last, with the very tedious process and with the support of a technical working group. In November 2018, its implementation commenced,” said Rachelle Yusi, City Human Resource Management Officer.
The PRSSP was aimed to gradually transform the organization for each of the city government’s office, which will result into a more dynamic and responsive local governance.
CHRMO’s Gian Carlo Angeles meanwhile said that the newly promoted and re-appointed employees underwent a certain procedure to acquire their employment status.
“Yung naging qualification standards na kailangan ma-meet ng mga employees ay education, training, experience, at eligibility (Civil Service Commission), base sa kanyang inaaplayan na specific position,” said Angeles.
He also shared that apart from the need to meet the prescribed standards and requirements, the applicants also underwent pre-screening (examination and initial interview) stage and panel interview conducted by the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB), before the final ranking and selection.
Some heads of offices also witnessed the oath taking of their personnel.
