Thirteen Fernandino kids aged 5 to 7 years old shined on stage as the City Government of San Fernando revived its talent show for children dubbed 'Bibo Kid.'

Organized by the City Health Office in line with the celebration of this year's Nutrition Month, Bibo Kid aims to find the smartest, brightest, and healthiest Fernandino child. "Ito pong kompetisyon na ito ay apat na taong nawala at ngayon po ay muli nating ibinabalik upang mas palakasin ang ating adbokasiya para sa kalusugan mula pagkabata hanggang pagtanda," said City Health Officer Dr. Eloisa Aquino in her speech during the program. The young aspirants show off their skills in talent portion, casual wear, and the much-awaited question and answer round that revolved around the contestants' healthy lifestyle habits. In the end, Prince Charles Tiria of Barangay Panipuan was hailed as Bibo Kid 2018. Barangay Lara's representative Fiah Jieollei Joi Atienza, who also received Best in Casual Wear and Best in Talent awards, emerged as the 2nd placer. While, Hellery Kate Ocampo of Barangay Sta. Lucia landed on the 3rd place. Meanwhile, the City Government in partnership with the Commission on Population Region 3, led by Director Eleanor Cura, also held the 4th Birthday celebration of the 100 Millionth Symbolic Pinoy. She is Kylie Dalusung from Barangay Dela Paz Norte who was born on July 27, 2014. The child, accompanied by her parents, received 5,000 cash grant from POPCOM. In his speech, Mayor Edwin "EdSa" Santiago said the City Government has always been supportive to the National Government's programs for the welfare of the Filipino children. "Aside from ensuring the protection and right of the children, here in San Fernando, we also invest on the children's health because this will eventually result to an educated citizenry and more progressive community. The children are our future," he added.
