Mayor EdSa Signs MOA With CI Philippines [ Wednesday, 19th of March 2014 | 3 years ago ]
In his short talk, the mayor stressed the readiness of the city government to support endeavors that will help achieve every Fernandino’s dream of finishing his education. “Dugtung-dugtung, saup saup tamu,” he added.
“I believe there’s no greater joy in a parent’s heart than to perceive a child bearing nothing but a bright future,” said Mayor EdSa.
To further strengthen their working relationship, a memorandum of agreement (MOA) was forged between the City Government and CIPI represented by its Chief of Programs Rebecca Fuellos. Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin and City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Esperanza Laya also signed the MOA.
“In behalf of the school districts and students, I thank Children International Philippines for these stacks of books that will be of great use not only for education but also for nation-building,” said Laya.
The books were then distributed to school beneficiaries in the city with school heads and teachers in attendance.
