Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa' Santiago was once again recognized as one of the Most Outstanding Mayors in the Philippines by Superbrand Marketing International Incorporated.

Santiago, along with 19 local chief executives, received the award given March 30 at The City Club, Alphaland Hotel in Makati. This is the third time that Mayor EdSa was awarded by the prestigious award-giving body for his invaluable commitment to public service and notable contributions in nation-building. In his speech, Santiago said he is honored and grateful to be included in the list of recipients for this year. He also lauded the efforts of the people behind this success. "I accept this recognition, with pride, in behalf of my colleagues who have been one with me in our vision and mission for our beloved city. I also thank my fellow Fernandinos for putting their trust in me and in participating towards the attainment of common good," he said.
