Women's Month Calendar Of Activities Slated [ Tuesday, 7th of March 2017 | 9 months ago ]


The City Government of San Fernando, headed by Mayor Edwin D. Santiago, has slated this year's activities for the celebration of Women's Month.

Themed "We Make Change Work for Women", this year's celebration aims to give due recognition to the contributions of Filipino women in our society.

The month-long celebration will kick off during the International Women's March that will be followed by Pampering Day Program set on March 8.

The Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with the City Investment and Promotion Office shall conduct a Roving Academy and Go Nego Kabuhayan Product Showcase on March 15 to 16 at the Heroes Hall.

Fernandina Entrepreneurs will also have an opportunity to sell their product during the Women's Trade Fair from March 17 to 18 at the City Hall.

Male employees of the City Government will compete in a Quiz Bee on Magna Carta of Women on March 20.

Students of City College, Pampanga High School, and Sindalan High School shall undergo a Forum for the Youth and Students on March 21 and 22.

The City Government will also sponsor a seminar on couples rights on March 23 and 24 at the Heroes Hall.

The 4th All Women Health and Wellness Program shall be held on March 24.

Members of the Fernandina Women's Federation are invited to attend their General Assembly on March 25 at the Heroes Hall.

A Bloodletting Activity shall be held on March 30 at the City Hall.

Pregnant Fernandinas and their partners are also invited to attend a Buntis Summit for Couples on March 31 at Robinson's Event Center.
