CSF Lauds Traffic Enforcers For Public Safety Efforts [ Tuesday, 26th of July 2016 | 2 years ago ]
Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago together with Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin led the awarding of Certificates of Commendation to Ronald Palma, Richard Tamayo and Virgilio Magtangob during the flag raising ceremony on Monday.
Santiago said they commend these personnel for demonstrating exemplary efficiency and devotion to duty that led to the apprehension of suspects during an Estafa incident commonly known as “Budol-budol” that transpired in Brgy. Sindalan on September 26, 2015.
Virgilio Magtangob, 42 years old and a Traffic enforcer for 3 years now, shared that one of the perpetrators was caught-in-the-act of victimizing a person.
“Nakita namin yung isa (sa mga suspek) may hawak ng mga gadgets at alahas, hindi lang pala yun yung unang beses na nasangkot siya sa ganoong krimen,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mayor EdSa furthered that it is important to recognize the efforts of outstanding city employees so they may continue their commitment to their duties.
“We also want them to serve as role models to their fellow employees to better serve the public particularly our beloved Fernandinos,” Mayor EdSa said.
Also present during the awarding were Councilor BJ Lagman, City Administrator Engr. Fernando Limbitco, Traffic Management Division Officer-in-charge Joseph Garcia, Deputy Public Order and Safety Coordinating Officer Engr. Rommel Salvador, Chief of Police P/Supt Jean Fajardo and Retired Colonel Danilo Bautista.
