CSF Holds Second SAFRun [ Monday, 27th of July 2015 | 2 years ago ]
With a theme titled, “Pamilya at Pamayanang Handa Katuwang sa Pag-unlad ng Bansa,” more than 300 participants coming from different parts of the province and neighboring places joined the said activity.
SAFRun aims to create awareness among the community in preparation to disasters and calamities that may arrive at any time.
In his opening remarks, City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Raymond Del Rosario said that holding a fun run in the community is a faster and more efficient way of raising awareness.
For his part Mayor EdSa said that conducting this kind of activity allows Fernandinos to be aware of disasters and at the same time they get to enjoy and be fit.
