Mayor EdSa Inaugurates 4 Infra Projects In Barangay San Nicolas [ Thursday, 18th of June 2015 | 2 years ago ]
First among the projects was the concreting of 400 meter road in EMS Barrio where he was assisted by Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, Chairwoman Rosemary Calimlim, and other barangay officials.
“Malaki ang pasasalamat namin dahil matagal nang pangarap ng mga residente dito ang kongkretong daan” said Calimlim disclosing that for many years they have been appealing for the construction of this road to avoid flooding but it was only this [Santiago] administration that their “dream turned into reality.”
Thereafter, the mayor proceeded to the blessing rites of the two new school buildings in San Nicolas Integrated School where he was warmly welcomed by elementary and high school students, teachers, and faculty members.
San Nicolas Birthing Station, the city’s newest medical facility, was also formally opened; this was followed by the inauguration of Fernandino Access Card Satellite office.
Hundreds of first aid kits and packs of maintenance medicines were distributed to senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Meanwhile, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office, elementary and high school students received back packs and school supplies as gifts from Mayor Santiago who will celebrate his natal day over the weekend.
