City, Showcases Fernandino Talents [ Friday, 29th of May 2015 | 2 years ago ]


Nine Fernandinos coming from different barangays shared their talents during the Fernandinos Got Talent Season 4 held on May 27 at Barangay Sto. Rosario.

This was led by the City Tourism and Investment Promotions Office as part of the celebration of the city’s Pyestang Fernandino.

The contestants were Evelyn Bautista from San Pedro, Louie Munoz from Northville, Shaina Anne Navarro from Dolores, Magnificent Duo Kids from Dolores, Jowen David from Dela Paz Sur, Ina Evangelista from San Agustin, John Ronald Bondoc from Juliana, Yoji Valerie Dy from Northville and El Gamma Dance Compay from Lourdes.

Joining them are judges Hans Lee, Jumar Duque and Jeff Ganda.

Also present in the event were Vice Mayor Jimmy T. Lazatin, Councilor Harvey Quiwa, Pyestang Fernandino Chaiperson Ramon Cabral Jr., Vega Pacla, Michelle Ong and Relia Ong.

Four contestants made it to the finals round and these were Navarro, Magnificent Duo, Evangelista and David.

The criteria for judging are 20 percent for the costume, 50 percent for the stage presence, 15 percent for audience impact and 15 percent for the overall performance.

Placing third was singer from San Agustin, Ina Evangelista, coming up second was the magnificent duo, first place was given to Jowen David and Shaina Anne Navarro was hailed as the grand champion of the Fernandinos Got Talent.

According to grand winner Shaina Navarro, she is very happy to have won the title, given that there are also many contestants who sing very well.

“Siyempre po masaya ako at ako nanalo. Malaking tulong po sa akin ung prize na nakuha ko dahil magagamit ko ito lalo na pasukan na,” said Navarro.

For his part, Mayor EdSa is promoting the activity since it’s a way of showing the talents and abilities of every Fernandino.

The Fernandinos Got Talent is one of the city’s activities in celebrating the Pyestang Fernandino.
