CIPPESO Brings Career Development Support Program to Students and Jobseekers
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — September 17, 2028 — The City Investment Promotions and Public Employment Service Office (CIPPESO), under the leadership of Ms. Mary Ann C. Biliwang, brought its Career Development Support Program to students and jobseekers during an informative and engaging session held at the Amphitheatre Heroes Hall.
The activity was conducted to help students and jobseekers gain a clearer understanding of the world of work and equip them with practical knowledge, skills, and resources as they prepare for employment, further education, or other career opportunities.
As part of the city’s continuing employment support initiatives, Pre-Employment Assistance was also provided to qualified beneficiaries. The assistance is intended to help students and jobseekers cover necessary expenses related to the processing of employment requirements, such as documents and other prerequisites needed when applying for jobs. By reducing some of the financial barriers associated with job applications, the program helps qualified applicants move forward with their employment opportunities and pursue available jobs with greater readiness.
Through initiatives such as the Career Development Support Program and Pre-Employment Assistance, CIPPESO continues to strengthen its efforts to connect Fernandinos with employment opportunities while providing practical support throughout their journey toward gaining meaningful work.
The activity likewise reflects the commitment of the City Government of San Fernando, under the leadership of City Mayor Hon. Vilma Balle-Caluag, to support youth development, employment generation, and workforce preparation. By investing in career guidance, employment coaching, and direct assistance for jobseekers, the city helps equip its constituents with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to navigate an increasingly competitive and evolving job market.
