CPESO Bagged its 6th BEST PESO Employment Information System and Philjobnet Implementer Award
Every year the Department of Labor and Employment facilitates the conduct of annual PESO Year-End Performance Assessment and Planning Exercise for the whole region, this to assess the performance capacity and notable accomplishments of PESOs in the implementation of the various employment programs and services in their community. The activity program was held at Royce Hotel Clark, Angeles City Pampanga last February 26 – 28, 2025, where PESOs from different municipalities/cities and DOLEs in the region joined the annual event.
In this years version of prestigious annual award the PESO City of San Fernando Pampanga was again recognized for the 6th time by the DOLE Regional Office 3 as the number 1 PESO in the whole region who have effectively and efficiently utilized the full implementation or full cycle of the PESO Employment Information System (PEIS) and Philjobnet. The PEIS is the enhanced version of the Skills Registry System. It is a database of active manpower supply containing the profiles of all persons and employers registered under the NSRP. Another highlights of the event, the CPESO was also invited as a guest speaker which was represented by Ms. Dolor F. Aquino, Labor and Employment Officer III to give knowledge and share some of its best practices in the implementation of the JobStart Program, known as one of the pioneer during the launching days of the project and for its effective and efficient delivery of various employment facilitation services.
This achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of the city government under the excellent and humble leadership of Honorable Mayor Vilma Balle Caluag and City Officials. The combined efforts aim to provide exceptional services and programs to the residents of San Fernando, particularly in the provision of various employment and livelihood opportunities for Fernandinos and help develop mechanisms to uplift their standard of living.
