11-more Day-care Centers In CSFP Accredited By DSWD [ Wednesday, 8th of October 2014 | 2 years ago ]
Mayor Edwin D. Santiago announced the results of the accreditation during the kick-off program for the city’s observance of children’s month yesterday. These day-care centers are from Barangay Sta Teresita, San Felipe, Magliman, Dela Paz Sur, Lourdes, San Isidro, Alasas, Quebiawan, San Juan, and two from Dolores.
Of the 48 existing day care centers operated by the LGU, a total of 25 accredited day care centers are now accredited.
With this the mayor noted that, San Fernando was able to comply with DSWD standards of having at least fifty percent accredited centers. “Hopefully, all the remaining day-care centers will also be accredited by next year.”
“This is also to ensure that the educational and social welfare of toddlers are met to provide our children with the best education that our city can provide.”
Last year, 14 other day-care centers and teachers were also given accreditation.
