“They have helped our PNP in their intensified campaign against lawless elements thru checkpoints and implementation of Oplan Sita, Helmet Law, and Dragnet” said Santiago.

Ensuring peace and order is a main thrust of the mayor’s administration under the 12 point agenda dubbed “Katiwasayan at Seguridad ng mamamayan, mapayapang pamayanan.”

Meanwhile, Police Chief PSUPT Edilberto Pitallano praised the awardees for their contributions in the apprehensions of suspects who usually employed motorcycles and other vehicles in the perpetration of their nefarious activities.

“Your loyalty, devotion to duty and whole-hearted immensely contributed in our operations, thus contributing to the plans and programs beneficial to our community.”

“We are thankful that our efforts are being recognized” TMD chief Pineda during an interview.

San Fernando traffic group is composed by only 70 personnel but managed to apprehend more than 2,000 traffic violations since October last year.
