CSF Holds Month-long Christmas Trade Fair [ Wednesday, 7th of December 2016 | 10 months ago ]
The City Government of San Fernando, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry and Giant Lantern Festival 2016 Committee has formally opened its month long Christmas trade fair at the Robinsons Starmills on December 6.
Leading the opening rites were Committee on Trade and Industry Councilor Reden Halili, OIC for City Investment and Promotions Center Engr. Remedios Agoncillo and DTI-Pampanga Director Elenita Ordonio.
A total of 22 stalls occupied by small, micro and medium entrepreneurs and members of the One Barangay One Product (OBOP) program of the city are currently exhibited.
Consumers have a variety of products to choose from including native delicacies, wood crafts, kitchen utensils, and linen items, to name a few.
In an interview, Mayor Edwin "EdSa" Santiago said the activity is annually held in line with the Giant Lantern Festival to promote and showcase indigenous products to a larger volume of consumers.
"We all know that the festival attracts thousands of people here and abroad and this will better help our Fernandino entrepreneurs to boost up their sales," Santiago added.
"Rest assured that all products sold are made with quality with an affordable price," the city mayor said.
The trade fair is open until December 31.
