CSF Crowns Little Miss Fernandina 2016 [ Monday, 30th of May 2016 | 1 year ago ]
Reigning Little Miss Fernandina Audrey Penafiel passed the crown on to 8-yr-old Lenihan who bested 9 other young aspirants coming from different barangays in the city.
Lenihan also bagged the Best in Summer Wear award and was hailed Ms. Winsome Smile.
Landing on Top 5 with Lenihan were Lluvia Amber Pagcu of Brgy. Bulaon (1st runner up), Sophia Villanueva of Brgy. San Agustin (2nd runner up), Heart Angel Sicat of Brgy. Del Rosario (3rd runner up ) and Arrah Magat of Brgy. Maimpis (4th runner up).
In an interview, Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago said the pageant proves how beautiful and smart Fernandinas are. “More than being a progressive city, San Fernando is also a home of talent and beauty,” he added.
For her part, Little Miss Fernandina 2016 Chairperson Eda Panganiban said the competition also serves as starting point for the contestants towards achieving titles in larger competitions.
“As early as now, we want to develop their confidence and hone their skills to make it easier for them when they join other pageants,” she added.
Lenihan will represent the City of San Fernando in the upcoming province-wide competition dubbed Prinsesita ning Sinukwan.
