1,022 Benefit From TESDA-DSWD Tie-up [ Friday, 27th of September 2013 | 3 years ago ]
“The City of San Fernando is one of the progressive cities in the country. As the city mayor, I’m encouraging you, fresh graduates, to be part of this progress,” Mayor EdSA said during his opening remarks.
Components of the C4TP include wage-employment and self-employment considerations that will benefit all the graduates. Trainings and assessment were conducted by TESDA while resource mobilization and identification of beneficiaries were done by the DSWD.
The six-month program was officially launched last March by the two national government agencies in partnership with technical training schools in Pampanga and local government units in Central Luzon.
Through joint efforts between the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), a Cash-for-Training (C4TP) Mass Graduation cum Jobs Fair for 1,022 beneficiaries was held at Heroes Hall on September 25.
